The increasing pace of change poses new challenges to almost every industry. The insurance industry, however, is being hit particularly hard: rigid processes, hierarchical work structures, inflexible products and cumbersome IT systems are just some of the buzzwords that can be used to describe the current situation.
On the other hand, the expectations of end customers, distribution partners, employees and, not least, management are high: digital distribution channels, agile working, fully automated processes and networked IT systems - and all this, if possible, at reduced costs.
